What’s New in NAS Backup
This chapter will examine what’s new in Veeam Backup & Replication (VBR) v12 with network-attached storage (NAS) backups. First, we will discuss how the archive copy mode and direct-to-object storage work with NAS backups. We will then discuss how now NAS backup can be sent to immutable repositories for backups. Next, we examine publishing a network file system (NFS) NAS backup as a Server Message Block (SMB) share for access. Finally, we will explore the health check options and the cloud helper appliance.
