3.2. Installing and Configuring a VMM Server
Let's assume that you are performing a brand-new installation and starting from the media. Please note that for the upgrade process, you should read and follow the upgrade guide published by Microsoft carefully because each upgrade path may have different recommended steps. To get access to the VMM media, you can either order it and get it through traditional mail or go online and download the evaluation/beta version and burn it onto a DVD by using your favorite tool.
