The first virtual desktop machine we are going to prepare for delivery is for the Windows 7 non-persistent, linked clone virtual desktop machine. To prepare this image for delivery, we will need to take a snapshot of the virtual desktop machine using vCenter and the vSphere web client. Once you have taken the snapshot, it can then be used by the View Administrator to create a new desktop pool for virtual desktop machines, which is built using Linked Clones. It will be used to create the replica in View Composer:
