Testing with the standard remote applications

The first applications we are going to configure for session-based remote access are those that are integrated into the Windows operating system and configured by default when you create the RDSH server role. These include applications such as Calculator and Notepad.

We are going to test that these applications work as remote applications by first checking they have been configured, and then whether or not we can access them remotely, before configuring the Horizon View components and any additional applications:
