There are two teams in the engineering department. Team one are heavy CAD users and design products, and team two create the engineering training material. Team one, therefore, requires a high-end graphics solution to run the CAD software, whereas team two doesn't need quite as many graphics resources; however, they still need substantially more than a standard user would need. The solution for engineering would include NVIDIA accelerated graphics technology, which requires dedicated desktops.
