In this chapter, we will go over the prerequisites that need to be taken care of before deploying NSX, including having specific ports open for NSX components to communicate along with DNS for name resolution.
We will then look at how to determine the CPU, RAM, and disk space resources needed to match the needs of your organization. You will see that it is also helpful to have the IP addresses you plan to use for NSX determined ahead of time along with the IP addresses of your existing NTP and DNS servers.
