Previously in this chapter I discussed baselines and walked you through creating a baseline. During that process, you saw two different types of host baselines: host patch baselines and host upgrade baselines. I've already discussed the first host baseline type in the previous section, and you know that host patch baselines are used to keep ESX/ESXi hosts patched to current revision levels. Now you'll take a look at host upgrade baselines and how you would use them.
