9.2. Operations
To get to the Operations page, you can either click the Operations link in the Top Link bar or in the Quick Launch bar. Once on the page, take a second to familiarize yourself (see Figure 9.3).
The settings are divided into general categories, as described in detail in the following sections.
Topology and Services
This category covers the general services that are fundamental to SharePoint, such as incoming and outgoing email, and basic services, such as Search. It also has a link to let you see what servers are doing what for SharePoint.
