12.4. Backing Up and Restoring SharePoint

What do you do if you keep getting critical event errors about SharePoint in the application and system logs? What if, despite your careful monitoring of the server, something goes awry? Can it be fixed? Can you recover from a crisis?

At this point, you have some tools to recognize a crisis and why it might be happening. Now is the time to marshal those tools to prepare for catastrophes before they happen, so you can recover your data and get SharePoint back up and running when it fails.
