Primarily focused on external applications, the External Service Connections category contains links mainly useful for those using Windows SharePoint Services with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.
10.6.1. Records Center
This settings page is useful only if you are using Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS). The Records Center is a MOSS site template meant to be used as a central repository for the long term storage of a company's records. If you were running MOSS, you'd use this page to let Central Administration know what the path of the Records Center was (Figure 10.37).
