10.4. Workflow Management
The Workflow Management category is teeny tiny for a reason. In Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, not much is done with workflows at the web-application level.
10.4.1. Workflow Settings
This setting page is the only one in this category. In Figure 10.27, you can see that only a few settings are available for managing workflows.
Allow the users to build custom workflows from existing workflow pieces deployed to the site (but not necessarily add their own).
Alert internal users who do not have site access when they are assigned a workflow task.
Allow external users to participate in a document workflow by emailing them the document.
