The Bullitt Center

A “Living Building”

Abstract

This chapter is a discussion of the Bullitt Center in the United States, which is a certified “Living Building.” This case study describes the challenges with specifying building materials which could be seen as being truly sustainable, meeting the stringent “Living Building Challenge” criteria.
