A.1 Introduction
While we made a great many figures in the course of working through this book, their appearance was rarely the focus of our discussion. However, as the theoretical neuroscientist Konrad Körding once observed: “Each figure deserves to look good.” We agree with this sentiment, and this appendix is written in the spirit of helping you to achieve just that.
Of course, if you do make figures for publication purposes, you should inform yourself about and follow the requirements specified by the journal publishing your work.
