Exploring the Wilson-Cowan Equations

In this chapter, we will apply phase plane analysis to a model of two interacting neuronal populations, an excitatory and an inhibitory population known as the Wilson-Cowan (W-C) equations. Rather than relying on the pplane7 program, we will apply the knowledge we possess to write our own rudimentary phase plane code for nonlinear systems.
