MATLAB® graphics
Plots are one of the best and most visually accessible means for presenting information in general and results of calculations in particular, especially in science and engineering. MATLAB® has a wide variety of commands for graphics. Available commands allow us to design various types of two- (in other words, XY or 2D) and three-dimensional (XYZ or 3D) plots.
2D graphics include plots with linear, semilogarithmic or logarithmic axes, bars, histograms, pies, polar and multiple plots, and many more. A plot can comprise one or several curves or surfaces, and several graphs can be plotted in the same Figure Window.
