Commands for probability distributions, random numbers, and special graphs
Abstract
Statistical methods are widely used in quality assurance. Basic MATLAB® has some commands for use in descriptive statistics, random numbers, and visualization, but they are not enough to solve QA problems that use a wider range of probability distributions, random number generators, and specialized graphics. A more extensive set of commands for this area is available in the Statistics Toolbox™; this tool extends the use of MATLAB® for a broad range of QA problems.
