Project Classifications in the Business Environment

Adopting a strategic perspective in project management requires choosing the right evaluation and control approach for each type of project. This cannot be done without understanding each project in a thorough and transparent manner. The simple recognition that a single approach with universally valid criteria does not exist is a significant indicator of the fact that different projects may require different approaches according to each project’s nature and purpose, among other variables that may be considered.
