The Interface
Depending on whether you're starting up Cinema 4D in Art, XL, BodyPaint 3D, or the combined BodyPaint 3D and XL version, the interface may differ from what you see in this book. Cinema 4D does not make all commands available in every version; therefore, certain entries may be missing completely or, in the case of BodyPaint 3D, new icons and menus may be present.
I will limit myself here to the XL version, and I'll provide more detailed information about BodyPaint 3D menus and icons later on.
The Tools
