Project: Adding Reflectivity

Thus far, the ambulance has mimicked reflections through the use of the Reflected Color attribute. However, Reflected Color is unable to emulate the reflections of geometry in the scene, For example, the ambulance windows fail to reflect the spare tire mounted on the hood. Nevertheless, you can use the Reflected Color attribute in conjunction with raytracing. To do so, follow these steps:

1. In the Render Layer Editor, select the masterLayer. Open the Render Settings window. In the Raytracing Quality section of the Maya Software tab, select the Raytracing check box.
