Objective 2.5: Deploy Mailbox Server Role
After you’ve determined where you want to place your organization’s mailbox servers, you need to actually get around to deploying the servers that will host them. After you deploy the mailbox servers, you have to configure the mailbox databases that will host mailboxes. It’s always better to have configuration settings such as mailbox quotas and deleted item retention configured prior to deploying mailboxes rather than trying to apply policies after a substantial number of mailboxes are in use. In this section you’ll learn about mailbox server deployment and mailbox database configuration as well as address list, offline address book, and public folder deployment.
