The Design Test
Microsoft's design tests are a little different from most tests you may have taken. To answer the test questions, you need to read and understand a scenario and apply the knowledge from the scenario to the questions.
When approaching a database design test, think of yourself as a database consultant coming in to help a company solve a problem or implement some type of improvement to their existing environment. You need to interview people to learn what they have, what they need, and what they want. As you talk to everyone, you'll take notes. A case scenario in the database design test is all of your notes put together.
