C. One of the reasons to create a Terminal Services (TS) server is to allow users to run different versions of applications that can't be installed on the same system. For example, Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007 aren't compatible on the same system but could be run by the same users if one is in a TS session and one is on the local system. TS wouldn't prevent users from launching applications on their desktop. Remote Desktop Connection 6.0 is the newer version of the application used to connect to TS sessions but isn't a reason to create a terminal server. A TS server is not required to allow either Remote Desktop Connection or Remote Assistance when used for administrative purposes such as remote control.
