File Server Resource Manager

First introduced with Windows Server 2003 R2, File Server Resource Manager (FSRM) is a suite of tools that enables you to perform a series of management tasks on file servers. FSRM helps you to efficiently monitor existing storage resources from a central location, as well as assisting in the planning and implementation of future changes in the file server infrastructure of your network.

FSRM is a Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in that includes five nodes enabling you to perform the following tasks:
