Now that you've had a chance to look over the conceptual information regarding email content management, you can start building on that knowledge by performing the various tasks required in working with both Outlook and SharePoint.
To use Outlook to send email content to SharePoint lists or libraries, the particular lists and libraries you want to use must have email support enabled. Although the process of enabling email support is pretty much the same for all of the different kinds of lists, there are some variations involved. Exercise 11.1 will show you how to enable email support for an Announcements list.
