Some Important Issues in Signal Processing

The vibration-response signal, obtained from the vibration transducer, after suitably conditioning, is sent to an analyser. A commonly used analyser is called Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) analyser. Such an analyser receives analogue-voltage signals, which may represent displacement, velocity, or acceleration/strain from a signal-conditioning unit. It computes the discrete frequencies of the individual signals. The most important question is about the truthfulness of the output data and the assurance that the analysis does not contain analysis of any no-rogue signals.
