It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Miscellaneous Topics in Vibration Analysis and Introduction to Noise Analysis
In this chapter, we shall deal with some topics, which might be useful in dealing with some complex problems encountered in practical life. The aim of this chapter is to introduce some important aspects of these topics. The topics that are being deal there include
- Flow-induced vibrations
- Noise analysis
- Unsteady (non-stationary) vibrations
- Rotor dynamics
Of these, flow-induced vibrations and the noise are somewhat interrelated. Therefore, we shall deal with them in some detail.
