About the Author
Abdul Mubeen is presently professor emeritus with Al-Falah School of Engineering and Technology, Faridabad. He joined Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, in 1985 and served as professor, head of the department, principal and dean between 1985 and 2004.
Having obtained B.E. from the Jabalpur University, he joined Indian. Institute of. Technology, Bombay in 1965 as Technical Teacher Trainee and began teaching there. He obtained M.Tech. from Indian .Institute of. Technology Bombay and joined Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, in 1968. He obtained Ph.D. from Indian. Institute of. Technology Kanpur in 1975. He went to Michigan Technological University, Houghton, in 1979 and taught there for two and half years.
