Appendix B: Instructions for Gnuplot

In this book I have used Gnuplot to compose a wide range of complex geometrical figures (parabolas, ellipses, precessing ellipses, Lissajous figures, sine curves, etc) and graphs of many other equations.

Gnuplot is a free software which can be downloaded from the internet. I shall show in this Appendix the commands used by me to compose these plots. I have composed everything in this book (the entire typesetting, the figures and the plots) in the Linux operating system which is a free sofware, and can be downloaded from the internet.
