13 Recording Sound
When you are working in radio obviously sound is the medium, and you need to be able to understand how to get the best sound from the equipment you have available.
When you are on a shoot it is just as important to think about the sound as it is to think about the pictures. More footage is wasted in the edit because of bad sound than because of bad framing. The best interview, best piece to camera or most interesting shots can be rendered useless because not enough attention has been paid to the sound.
