Most media servers on the market today have some level of image distortion or surface warping controls, whether it is simply keystone correction or more advanced like spherical mapping. Some servers go beyond simply distorting the image and actually provide an interface for 3D mapping onto models. Let’s take a look at several of these image distortion and mapping functions that can be used to create the illusion of 3D when using projection.
