Choosing a Template

The first step in creating a book is choosing one of the predesigned templates that comes with iBooks Author. Templates contain ready-made chapters, sections, pages, placeholders, and other elements, all unified by consistent design. Templates are the quickest way to start a project because much of the initial design work has been done for you. Exploring the different templates shows you how to assemble text, graphics, and media into professional-looking books. You can modify any template page or element to suit your needs.
