Data Quality and Strategy
Abstract
This chapter explores how concepts about strategy apply to data. Data strategy should be connected to overall business strategy while accounting for the challenges particular to managing the quality of data. A strategic approach to data quality management aligns priorities for data and information management with organizational goals and builds accountability for data into processes, system design, and individual performance.
