Abstract
The smart-city concept is expected to be realized in the near future, which affects the development of novel mobile networks such as 5G. In order to provide access to larger bandwidths and higher frequencies, the 5G network increases the complexity of the RF front-end components. Designers have to satisfy tighter specifications for realizing components such as filters, antennas, phase shifters, power amplifiers and switches.
