Abstract

The changing demographic structures in western societies have led to a higher need for assistance for elderly people in their everyday lives (Peters et al. 2010). Staying mobile is very important for the quality of life, but is anything but simple when getting older. The research project inDAgoa, a project initiated by research facilities in and around the city of Darmstadt, Germany, targets this problem.
