UNDERSTANDING EACH GENERATION’S COMMUNICATION STYLES
Working digitally causes us to misunderstand, or assume we understand, someone’s digital message to us 80 percent of the time. So if we work 253 days of the year (not including vacation), we are frustrated and tired for about 202 days a year. But by learning how to classify people we communicate with into groups and identify patterns of behavior common to each group, we can transform our workdays—and our stress levels.
