Application II: Medical and health-care informatics, economics, business, and finance
Abstract
This chapter extends our discussion of applications for meta-analytics by moving beyond the fields of mathematics, engineering, and technology to the fields of health care, economics, business, and finance. While only a selected few applications are highlighted, the case is made for the general utility of meta-analytic approaches to virtually any field in which analytics plays a role. In health care, an emphasis on anonymization (deidentification) of data is explored.
