Abstract
Modern artificial cognitive technology is a result of how people interact with computer systems to feel like they are in the real world. Virtual reality (VR) is one of the developing technologies that allow for improvements in human–computer interaction (HCI) based on a variety of inputs in the current trend. VR, which uses a human–computer interface to simulate a virtual environment in real time, makes multidisciplinary engineering possible. One of the most significant and essential functional processes in the manufacturing and construction industries is welding. With high-strength welded joints, the structure’s mechanical strength improves. Typically, welding instructors in undergraduate institutions and businesses lack the necessary knowledge, which reduces the number of qualified welders and has an impact on the education of instructors in undergraduate programs, manufacturing, and various construction sectors. These are caused by high material costs, equipment upkeep, training costs, and significant carbon emission with environmental damage. In contrast to conventional welding, VR technology offers an appropriate solution for the aforementioned issues, resulting in trained instructors, and a decrease in material waste, time savings, and self-learning ...
