Here are some ways that you can begin to experiment with applying Appreciative Inquiry style questions into your role as an e-learning practitioner. Note that some of the examples will apply to instructor-led (synchronous) delivery, some are for self-paced (asynchronous) applications, and others can be used in multiple settings.
