Final Word
What have I learned in the compilation of this Annual? I've learned that we have moved beyond two important sticking points in our field: (1) thinking that distribution of information is equivalent to teaching and (2) letting questions of how we can use technology provide direction. We may have just barely moved off these inhibiting speed bumps, but I think they're in the rear-view mirror more than blocking our movement. Let me take up each point briefly.
