Abstract
In this chapter, we will give our attention first on few types of measurement methods for the characterization of the thermal conductivity of the film materials and a brief review on the development history of these methods; the measurement principles of these methods will be mentioned to identify the characteristics of these methods; we will then show how these methods are modified and applied for thin film thermal characterizations. At the last section, the factors influencing measurement will be discussed, including thermal radiation and boundary effect.
