If you really want to see microinequities in action, you need go no further than everyday business meetings. As part of my presentations to large groups, I show a video simulation of a team meeting where people send and receive a wide range of micromes-sages. To an audience that hasn’t yet been schooled in the microinequities process, the meeting in the video seems quite typical. Nothing in the video of the meeting seems special. Some things that occur on the tape may stand out as being a bit unusual, but the micromessages that are exchanged represent the sorts of things that we all routinely see in business meetings.
