Planner is a visual tool that helps you to organize your team tasks. It helps you stay on track, thereby making it easier to manage the ongoing project.

Planner is not a comprehensive project-management solution like Microsoft Project, but it provides lightweight task-management capabilities, such as the following:

  • Creating tasks (or cards) and boards
  • Assigning tasks to team members
  • Specifying due dates
  • Sharing files
  • Having conversations
