Organizations face a broad range of risks from insiders. These risks could be everything from workplace harassment, IP theft, violence, insider trading, accidental data spillage, other types of data handling violations, fraud, conflicts of interest, or sensitive data leaks.

Typically, these types of insider risks fall into three types of policy violations:
