A recovery service vault is an entity that stores the backups and recovery points created over time. It also contains the backup policies. In this chapter, you’ll learn how to get started with Azure site recovery.

To create a recovery service, you can search in the marketplace for site. “Recovery Services vaults” will come up, as shown in Figure 12-1.
