Field Security Profiles
New to this version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM is the ability to set up security on specific fields (previous versions allowed security only on the entity level) known as Field Level Security (also known as FLS).
When working with Field Level Security, Field Security Profiles need to be created, and then applied to either Teams or users.
Note
The profiles created are completely separate from the security roles created.

Field Level Security is only available to custom attributes. It is anticipated that the option for system attributes will be part of a future update rollup from Microsoft.
