Back in Excel 2016, Microsoft attempted to add a feature that would intelligently and automatically group dates for you. The feature was hated by Excellers and was removed in short order. For anyone who loved auto grouping and the Drill-Down and Drill-Up features, you can re-create them, although it requires a few extra steps. Grouping will be covered last in this chapter.
