Working with Smartphones

Another type of mobile device is a hybrid Windows CE device and mobile phone. Unlike a Pocket PC device that has a touch screen display and looks more like a PDA than a telephone, the Smartphone is a mobile phone that has a Windows interface for viewing inbox messages, calendar appointments, contacts, and other Outlook information.

As with Pocket PC devices, an organization can purchase a Smartphone and test the functionality, or it can download a Smartphone emulator and test the functionality of the Smartphone device to Exchange 2003.
