Introduction

When my co-authors and I set out to write this book, we wanted to provide a fresh perspective on planning, designing, implementing, and migrating to an Exchange Server 2003 environment. The four of us (Rand, Mike, Kenton, and Joe) started working with Exchange Titanium more than 18 months prior to the product release to the public. We had several clients who were large beta implementers of Exchange Server 2003, and some of our clients have dozens of servers in production using the Exchange 2003 beta.
