Understanding development priorities

It’s tough to drive innovation into a product that has been around for so long, and it’s tough to satisfy all the different constituencies that use Exchange, from the small business that deploys one or two servers to the world’s largest enterprises that support hundreds of thousands of mailboxes. Each time Microsoft releases a new version of Exchange, it has to include enough new stuff in the product to create a compelling case for an upgrade.
