Publishing by Using HTTP (FrontPage Server Extensions)

The most solid and secure publishing method from within Expression Web 2 is HTTP publishing. Although FrontPage Server Extensions are required on the hosting account, you don’t need to rely on FrontPage features. The HTTP method provides the added benefit of encoding the user name and password that you use when publishing and can allow for publishing through a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL/HTTPS) if you have a Secure Server Certificate installed on your server space.

In this exercise, you will use HTTP publishing through Expression Web 2, and you will use the features that are available with this method.
